| The Weimar Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors voted to sponsor the Babe Ruth World Series that will be held in Weimar, August 6th through the 13th. The check in the amount of $8,400 will help sponsor five teams coming here from across the USA.
This World Series will be host for 16 year-old youth and, as in the past, will be baseball at its best. Area families will be asked to house some of the athletes.
